But seriously, with the Cornetto Cinese it looks to be built after 1850 more likely closer to 1880 because of the trend/fashion of "Western" interest in things "Eastern" (East Asia).

Vom Prospekt, Pedalklaviatur (Messerrückenklaviatur) her käme durchaus die Fa. Serassi aus Bergamo als Erbauer in Frage. Im Süddeutschen Orgelbau war die Messerrückenklaviatur durchaus üblich. Auf dem Forumstreffen Rot an der Rot (Holzhey) hatten wir die Möglichkeit ein solches zu betasten.

The organ is a typical example of a nineteenth-century Italian instrument. The characteristics could date it from the second half of the nineteenth century, but it is unlikely that it was built by Serassi; the front elevation is typical of the Tuscan organ building, with the mouths running opposite to the height of the pipes (and making the pipe prospect very elegant). This is typical of Tuscan builders (primarily Agati-Tronci).
Even the name "Diplofono" (to indicate "Terza mano", a super octave coupler in the discant) is typical of the Tuscan makers. I would therefore exclude the Serassi.

These (like the organs of the Lombard builders, Serassi, Lingiardi, Bossi-Urbani, Aletti, etc.), are designed for the nineteenth-century Italian repertoire, that is, a repertoire based on opera music ("Bel canto"); the "Leggìo" pedal board allowed this music to be played, but obviously excluded almost all non-Italian repertoire.

Did they play this music during the chuch services? I can hardly believe the Roman Catholic guidelines for music would allow this, but ....one never knows.
